The moon is referred to a female energy and the sun the male energy.
The moon is the nurturing mother, soft energy. This is why emotions and intuition are linked to the subconscious aspects of the mind.
The different phases of the moon are often used to symbolize stages of growth or the process of manifesting desires, especially in spiritual or mystical practices.
The moon goes through her phases of dark and light, just as we do, illuminating our hidden emotions into the light to be healed.
The phases of the moon are about transformation and renewal. It’s phases from new to full and back again make the moon a powerful symbol of transformation, renewal and rebirth.
I have given you all you need to understand the moon, and how to work with energy on a weekly basis. If it’s too much to work with her weekly as life is busy, choose when feels good or when you’re going through something, check where the moon is in her cycle and use the tools below to help you. Or work weekly and really enhance your life.

The moon’s unillumined side faces Earth, making it invisible to the naked eye, expect during a solar eclipse.
This is a time of new beginnings, a time to consider our intentions and what we want to achieve during the coming 28-day lunar cycle.
We made feel tired or quiet on the run up to The New Moon. Pay attention to deep desires that surface now as they are clues about where to focus our attention for the next 28 days. It’s the perfect time to journal and meditate to bring into awareness what you want from life.

Then go back to last week’s letter or vision board and focus on how it would ‘feel’ to have that life. Feel the emotions to have that live, stop the ego telling it’s hard, or you can’t. Watch if there is resistance, don’t beat yourself up. Just encourage the mind to come back to your vision. Stay with the positive.

This moon is about being patient and persistent. It’s a time to prepare for the Full Moon. It’s a time to make any last adjustments to your plans, bringing you more into alignment to closer to your intentions.

It’s a time to honour yourself and others and give thanks for the blessings in your life. You may feel energized or tired at a full moon. You may also find it harder to sleep. So, take rest and honour how you feel.
